Effective date: 20 October 2026
These terms and conditions apply to every enquiry, quote and booking made through this website or with Vacation Planner Travel (域普假期, a licensed travel agent in Hong Kong, licence no. 240727, “we”). By placing an order or accepting a quote, you agree to these terms.
1. Our role
We act as a travel agent, arranging travel services on your behalf with airlines, hotels, cruise lines, insurers and other travel service providers (“suppliers”). The services are provided by the suppliers and are subject to their own terms, fare rules and cancellation policies.
2. Quotes and prices
- Prices and quotes are in Hong Kong dollars and include the taxes and surcharges stated, unless noted otherwise.
- Fares and room rates change often. Prices, seats and rooms are not held until we receive full payment and confirm the booking. If the price changes before confirmation, we will tell you and you may accept the new price or cancel at no charge.
- A quote is valid only until the pay by date shown on it.
3. Payment
- We accept FPS and bank transfer. Please upload your payment slip on your order page.
- Orders not paid by the deadline may be cancelled automatically.
- A booking is made only after we have checked your payment and emailed you a booking confirmation.
4. Traveller details
- You must make sure the traveller names, dates of birth and other details you give are correct and exactly match each traveller’s passport.
- Change fees, losses or denied boarding caused by incorrect details are your responsibility.
5. Travel documents, visas and health requirements
Travellers are responsible for holding a valid passport (usually valid for at least six months after the return date), any visas and entry permits needed, and for meeting the health and entry rules of their destination, transit points and airline. We can give general information but are not responsible if a traveller is refused boarding or entry.
6. Changes, cancellations and refunds
- Changes or cancellations after confirmation follow the supplier’s rules and may involve supplier charges and our handling fee. We will tell you the charges before making the change.
- Some air tickets and promotional products cannot be refunded or changed.
- Refunds are limited to the amount the supplier actually refunds to us, less applicable charges, and are paid to you after we receive the supplier’s refund.
7. Supplier changes and force majeure
If a supplier changes or cancels a service (for example a flight time change or cancellation), we will do our best to help you rebook or claim a refund, but we are not liable for supplier decisions or for losses caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics, war, strikes or government action.
8. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend that every traveller buys suitable travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, baggage and personal accident.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the service fees you paid us for the booking concerned, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under Hong Kong law.
10. Travel Industry Compensation Fund
We are a licensed travel agent. The scope and conditions of protection under the Travel Industry Compensation Fund are as published by the Travel Industry Authority; please see the Travel Industry Authority website for details.
11. Complaints
For any feedback or complaint, please email enquiry@vpt-travel.com or call +852 3563 6723 and we will reply as soon as possible. You may also contact the Travel Industry Authority.
12. Privacy
We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law and language
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. We may update these terms from time to time; the updated version takes effect when published on this page and applies to bookings made afterwards. If there is any inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions, the Chinese version prevails.
